Safeguard Scientifics joins Capital On Stage

• The Internet is disrupting every industry. Although at Capital On Stage we generally keep up the motto “no bugs no drugs” when we screen our startups, but life sciences is a vague area where lots of disruptive technology is reshaping (or rather growing) this industry. For this reason we’re happy to welcome Safeguard Scientifics – not your average VC fund – on stage at the Capital On Stage New York edition as one of the 20 participating Investors. 

  Gary Kurzman will be representing Safeguard, where he is Managing Director identifies, deploys capital in and supports emerging life sciences companies. Gary targets companies with solutions that address the high cost of medical care, and safer and more effective treatments. Gary is also on the board of Safeguard partner companies Alverix, Good Start Genetics, Medivo, NuPathe Inc. (NASDAQ:PATH) and PixelOptics.
