Andy Hunt is a Principal at Highland. He focuses primarily on the internet and digital media sectors in New York and Boston. Andy currently is actively involved with Highland’s investments in Bullhorn, Dailybreak,Gemvara, NameMedia, OpenSky, Pixable and SessionM.
In addition to his role at Highland Capital Partners, Andy is a co-Founder and Director at Warby Parker Eyewear, which aims to fundamentally alter the $35 billion Rx eyewear space through disintermediation, superior design and innovative distribution. Andy co-Founded Warby Parker with three classmates at The Wharton School in 2008, conceiving, building and operating the company until taking a role at Glenbrook Consumer Partners in 2010. At Glenbrook, Andy focused on consumer internet growth equity investments and was also an active angel investor during the same period. Prior to founding Warby Parker, Andy worked in healthcare IT venture capital at SV Life Sciences and as an investment banker at Cain Brothers in New York.
